St. Mary’s offers a high-quality, teacher-led nursery provision for children from the age of three. As part of our Early Years Unit, nursery children learn alongside our Reception class, benefiting from positive role models and being encouraged to aim high in their learning.

Our dedicated team—Miss Wade, full-time teacher, and Mrs Byrne, full-time teaching assistant—create a supportive, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child feels safe and valued.

We are fully committed to delivering the very best Early Years education. We view nursery as the first step in each child’s learning journey, forming the foundation of our whole-school curriculum. From the moment your child enters our Early Years classroom, they gain access not only to excellent age-appropriate facilities but also to the wider resources of our school, helping to secure the essential building blocks for future success.

Our Early Years unit boasts a beautiful, brand-new classroom: bright, spacious, and complete with its own outdoor area. The environment is carefully designed to reflect children’s interests and experiences while offering rich, stimulating opportunities for exploration and growth.
