Admissions form
Dear Parents and Carers,
St. Mary's Catholic Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Roman Catholic School within the parish of St Elizabeth's. The school is maintained by Lancashire Local Authority as a voluntary aided school. The school's Governing Body, appointed by Liverpool Archdiocese, is the admissions authority and is responsible for taking decisions on applications for admissions.
Please do not hesitate to contact St Mary's if you would like to visit the school. Choosing your child's school is an important decision, and we are here to help you in any way we can. For the school year commencing September 2026, the Governing Body has set its planned admission number at 15.
School admissions are now open for children due to start primary school in September 2026. We would recommend you apply as soon as you have visited school. You will need to apply at: https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/children-education-families/schools/apply-for-a-school-place/.
Before you apply,
✔️ Check our school website, which provides a window into our school. St Mary's Catholic Primary School - Home
We hope to be able to see you at one of our Open Afternoons during the autumn term to enable you to visit school and see our school life in action. I am always available to speak to parents and provide a guided tour of our school.
