Living and Learning Together - Shining in our Faith
Welcome to Year 2 and 3
The class teacher in Year 2 and 3 is Mrs Priestner, supported by Mrs Charnock each morning.. We like to run a varied and exciting curriculum with Guided Reading, English and Maths skills taught every morning and topic based subjects in the afternoons. We try to have a good mixture of indoor and outdoor lessons which include Forest School sessions throughout the Autumn and Summer months.
Some of our topics planned for this year include:
Queen Elizabeth II as a significant monarch
The Countries of the U.K
Famous artists - Joan Miro / Wassily Kandinsky and Claude Monet
The Stone Age
We cover Science, History, Geography, Art, ICT, Music, PSHE, Spanish, PE and DT within each term.
