Welcome to the Year 1 and 2 class page. Mrs. McGrath is our Year 1 and 2 class teacher.
In Year 1 and 2 we provide the children with fun and interactive lessons.
The Year 1 and 2 Curriculum provides the children with the opportunity to explore, embed and challenge their learning.

For further information about our topics and units of work, please see the knowledge organisers below. Every term a new knowledge organiser accompanies the work the children complete in each foundation subject. Knowledge organisers can be found in the children's work books and in the section below.

General Notices for Year 1 and 2
Reading at home is very important to all of Year 1 and 2 we are practising these skills regularly at home and in school. In school we will hear the children read regularly and every child should bring their reading books into school every day.
We still have snack in Year 1 and 2, and we enjoy sharing this together.
On Thursdays and Fridays we have PE, your child can come to school in their PE kits on these days.
Homework this half term includes reading and learning our spellings.
