Year 3&4
Welcome to Year 3 and 4
The teaching team in Year 3 and 4 is Mrs Priestner, the class teacher and Mrs Geldart the Teaching Assistant. We like to run a varied and exciting curriculum with English and Maths skills taught every morning and topic based subjects in the afternoons. We try to have a good mixture of indoor and outdoor lessons which include Forest School sessions throughout the Autumn and Summer months.

Anglo-Saxons & Vikings
The Stone Age
The Countries of the U.K
Our local area/ The Seaside
We COVER History, Geography, Art, ICT and DT within each half termly topic.
General information
- Homework in the form of spellings and times tables will be given out each Friday and then tested the following Friday. These are all differentiated to help your child at their own level.
- We have a specialist PE teaching, who teach all aspects of PE on a Friday.
- Water bottles – Every child should bring in a water bottle and these are kept in class throughout the week and refilled every day. They will be thoroughly cleaned every Friday.
- Snacks – each child can bring in small healthy snack for morning playtime. This should be something such as fruit or veg and must be NUT FREE
